I am obsessed with making my own loose incense I use over charcoal blocks, so here is a few recipes for Hekate, Sekhmet and A’set who are my patrons:
HEKATE INCENSE from late Antiquity
1 part laurel bay
1 part frankincense
1 part rue seeds
1 part storax
1 part myrrh

SEKHMET INCENSE
1 part benzoin
1 part cinnamon
1 part copal
3/4 parts clove
1 parts dragon’s blood
3 parts frankincense
1 part juniper
1 part sandalwood (red)
4 – 6 drops orange or neroli oil
